Hi. I'm Andrew, a Canadian writer based in London specialising in screenwriting and copywriting.
ABOUT
My career started in advertising over a decade ago. I worked for McCann Erickson and then VCCP on clients like L’Oreal, Microsoft, Coors Light and Muller. After six years agency side I moved into the world of high growth startups. I worked in the growth teams at what3words and then Immersive Gamebox at times when both companies were going through rapid global expansions.
However, throughout all this my passion was always writing, screenwriting in particular. So a couple years ago I took the plunge and dove into writing full-time. It’s been challenging, but I love it, which was the whole reason for taking the plunge in the first place.
Over the last couple years my scripts have placed in a number of competitions, including Finalist at the Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship 2025, Finalist at the Slick Films short film fund, Quarterfinalist at the Finish Line Script Competition 2024/2025 and many more.
But screenwriting is a tough business, so as I continue to pursue my dream I’m also turning my attention back to where it all started, advertising, specifically copywriting.
